Inspiration

I still remember the exhilarating buzz of that phone call from Georgia. She requested two moody burgundy paintings for their dramatic charcoal grey Regent St home in Elsternwick. The excitement of the project kept me awake for days, working through the night to bring those pieces to life, ensuring they were painted, dried, and express-shipped on time. It was a whirlwind of creativity and passion, and I loved every moment of it!

I titled the paintings "Dance Me to the End of Love," inspired by the hauntingly beautiful song by Leonard Cohen. The drama of the piece evoked deep feelings of dancing and love, perfectly capturing the essence of their request.
