Slowing the pace by stilling the mind through controlling the breath, allows the focussing of attention to shape and bend our mental cornea to ‘see’ typically invisible phenomena.
Patterns of shapes, forms and behaviours, emerge. These patterns intermingle blending different micro and macro systems and dynamics.
One can look upon a vista and see labels for the parts and aspects.
Alternatively, when ‘seeing’ occurs the labels dissolve. The interplay between the parts becomes more obvious and the whole is perceived. The dynamics that govern the inherent interactions come forward and present themselves with clarity.
The labels remain though they are wrapped in parentheses, lessening their former meaning. In their place a new language appears. A vocabulary that comes from within. A connection of sorts that pulls meaning from deep inside, deep down in the unconscious.
It’s the same with great works of art. The labels are replaced with feelings. The mind switches off and the heart turns on.
