"Subterranean Heart" emerged from chaos tamed by intention, layers of pigment allowed to pool and breathe before being refined through my process of gentle elimination. What remains is only what's essential: a balance of complexity and clarity that honors the Japanese principle of Yugen—profound grace that reveals more by showing less.
