Inspiration

Part of my collection Pocketful of Tide, inspired by childhood memories of beachcombing.
This piece is composed as a meditative mandala. I get distracted easily and I notice when the noise
drops away and you realise how loud everything had been. This painting lives in
that pause. The need I have for times of hush, The white space is left open on
purpose, a quiet place to stand and simply be.
