Inspiration

Part of a collection of works in different colourway's exploring colour and memory. Each piece an abstraction of that particular childhood freedom - beach combing. As a child, I lived in reverie: drifting, wondering, completely lost in my own world. This painting, in bright teals and greens, wasmade the same way. I let the ink spiral out from the centre in its own time. I try to stay out of the way and let it grow itself.
