Part of a collection of works in different colourway's exploring colour and memory. Each piece an abstraction of that particular childhood freedom - beach combing. On my morning walks Ive started collecting fallen gum leaves and curls of bark. Some were still bright green, others had turned red, maroon and deep brown. Nature never rushes its changes. This piece holds that unhurried feeling, the kind of shade that slows your breathing.
