This piece is a symphony of emotions, painted at point of dramatic change and challenge in my life. Captured in hues that whisper secrets and stories of love, longing, and transformation.

Albertine, the colour, is a deep, soulful blend of lavender and dusk, embodying both the fragility of a petal and the strength of the earth it grows from. It is a colour that speaks of twilight walks along cobblestone paths, of moments suspended in time, where the heart beats in rhythm with the rustling leaves and the whispering winds.

In this painting, Albertine dances with shades of soft plum and twilight blue, creating a dreamscape that is both ethereal and grounded. The marks are tender yet purposeful, weaving a narrative that is as intricate and layered as a love letter written over many years. There is a sense of nostalgia here, a longing for places and people just out of reach, yet ever present in the mind and heart.

The interplay of light and shadow in "Albertine" evokes a sense of mystery and discovery, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in its depths. It is a reminder that beauty lies not only in the obvious but in the subtle, the delicate, the almost unseen. The painting beckons us to pause, to breathe, to reflect on the moments that shape us and the colours that define our memories.

"Albertine" is more than just a painting; it is a meditation on love, loss, and the timeless dance of the human spirit. It is a celebration of the delicate balance between joy and sorrow, the fleeting and the eternal. It is an invitation to embrace the beauty of the journey, and to find solace in the colours that paint our lives.
