Adam and Samantha Bradshaw, both dental professionals, had been operating their practice in Gympie for less than a year when they decided to build their 'forever home.' They chose a picturesque spot on acreage amidst the rolling hills that encircle the historic town in South East Queensland.

When I visited their home for inspiration on their requested commission, I was so struck by its beauty that I jokingly asked to move in! Though they didn't take me up on it, they did allow me to create a painting that harmonises the colours of their landscape with the natural hues of wood and stone in their home.

I was searching for the perfect title and, in a moment of cheeky curiosity, I found myself scrolling through their socials. There, I discovered they married in South Africa at the stunning Ulusaba Game Lodge. (Incredible place, truly.) Ulusaba means "place of little fear," and I thought it was a beautiful phrase, capturing both serenity and strength. It felt like the perfect title, especially since this family has had to draw upon immense courage to overcome some pretty intense challenges together.
